    • Depends on the company – some aren’t a better price
  • Student
    • Only works if you have a student card
  • Pwyc 
    • Pay-What-You-Can is a great way to see shows if you have a limited budget or support a theatre if you have the disposable income to pay extra
  • Lottery’s
    • More common on broadway or Broadway Across Canada. Significantly discounted!
  • Equity/artist prices
    • Usually, you need an equity card or a recent program from a show you have done. 
  • Rush
    • This is when you show up at a theatre to see if you can get any spare tickets right before the show starts. Not all theatres do this.  
  • Comps from friends aka complimentary tickets
    • This requires having friends involved in the production. But you can always ask if they have a spare comp. These are entirely free. 
  • Volunteer usher/usher jobs
    • A great way of meeting people and supporting the community,
