Maggie MacKenzie is a Calgary-based actor, producer, and writer. She aims to fearlessly create with care, awareness, and passion.
Maggie MacKenzie has been enamoured with theatre since her fifth-grade Christmas concert. From clowning to Shakespeare, from acting, directing, writing, to producing, she approaches her craft with passion, mischief, and a love of stories.
Since graduating from Rosebud School Of The Arts in 2018 Maggie has been active in the Calgary theatre scene. She has had the pleasure of working with Theatre Calgary, Green Fools, Rosebud Theatre, Dirty Laundry, and Birnton Theatricals. As well as The Honest Collective, Reckless Daughter Creative, Theatre BSMT, Jupiter Theatre, and Ghostlight Productions.
She is an Artistic Associate of the up-and-coming IDGAF Theatre, home for political theatre for the politically afeared. She is also the Artistic Producer of Playing Possum, a physical theatre company that specializes in the unexpected clown show.
